Well, so much for good planning. Due to the recent rains, there has been three landslides on PCH/Highway 1 along the ocean to Malibu. We had a scheduled "Away Ride" to Malibu from Camarillo for this coming weekend (Sunday,January 16th), but due to the hazardous condition of the road for biking, our route has changed. HOWEVER, you will totally enjoy this ride because it circles the three lakes along Highway 101. This route contains some of the Cruisen the Conejo Ride around lakes of Malibu, Westlake and Sherwood for 35 miles. Bring your camera, it is suppose to be a beautiful day. We have a planned reststop/refueling at Stoneground Bakery in Agoura. So, see you this coming Sunday at 8:30am in the Thousand Oaks Transportation Center off Highway 101 at the Rancho Road exit, 1/2 mile south of the freeway.
