Even though the Ojai Valley Bike Trail is obviously not in Eastern Ventura County, we feel it appropriate to mention this wonderful news item. The basic plans for the needed bridge over the San Antonio Creek on the Ojai Valley Bike Trail has been set to be finished by March of 2012. The Ojai trail is so beautiful and well traveled. However, the old crossing of the creek has been very hazardous after heavy rains. Thank you Ventura County Board of Supervisors for this vision for a safer biking community.
