While other Moorpark Bike Riders "slaved" at serving food, cutting food, rolling food, eating food at the rest stop at Stowe Park in Goleta, a few Moorpark Bike Riders were lucky to actually partake in the Cool Breeze Century Charity Ride from Ventura on August 20th. Tom and Melissa were two very lucky cyclists that got to enjoy the perfect day with overcast skies to keep down the August heat in temps of 70 degrees. There were 1700 cyclists for the day and probably 1000 did the 100 Mile Ride. If you have never experienced a weekend charity ride, do so. They are so much fun.
