Weekend charity rides are always fun because you are biking with people that like to bike like you. But also you get to experience a new region to bike that is fun and different. Mike and Nancy headed to Big Bear to bike in this new ride beginning from Big Bear Village. A choice of 75, 50 or 25 milers were offered. They chose the shorter route because of the altitude and hills at the end of the ride. The weather was fantastic. 75 degrees with clear skies and a slight cooling breeze throughout the ride.
