So the weatherman was finally correct on his prediction of Santa Ana Winds on Saturday morning. What he did not say was how much they were going to blow. 8 riders ventured on our favorite "Lost Canyons Loop" only to experience a headwind for 15 miles. And boy was it tough. We were so tired, eating inside the golf course cafe was a true relief. After refueling our system we headed back into the elements only to experience the BEST tailwind in the history of mankind. All the way from the golf course and back into the ride start parking lot we almost did not even have to pedal. Well kinda. Anyways, were all survived the "wind adventure" on our ride this Saturday morning. Not it is time for a lunch, a nap and college football!
