What do you get when you mix a beautiful bike route, wonderful weather with fantastic biking friends? Answer, a charity bike ride on the "Viva Bike Las Vegas Grand Fondo Metric Century." Several Moorpark Bike Riders participated in this fantastic event that was sent up the Las Vegas Strip with a police pace car at daylight, into Downtown with no stop lights, and onto beautiful (but difficult) Red Rock Canyon before heading downhill into the upscale community of Sumerlin. It was so fun to ride with Nancy S., Diane S., Pam R., Steve L., Ed R., Mike S., and newcomer Phil for Vista in San Diego. Try this ride next year, it was very fun. And anyways, how can you not like Las Vegas for fun?
