You should have been there. Why? Because there were so few cars that nine riders "took" the road from Las Posas to Sycamore Cove at Pt. Mugu State Park during the "Sycamore Cove 40 Miler" on Sunday, February 8th. Due to the recent mud, rock and road damage the entire PCH section to Neptune's Net has been closed for over two months. Well, Caltrans finally opened the section from Las Posas to Pt. Mugu State Park to cars and cyclists. We took advantage of the lack of cars on a normally busy weekend. AND it turned out to be a beautiful ride with all the green hills and flowers beginning to bloom. Check out the photos on at "Steve Light's Photo Site", they are very nice. See you on a ride soon.
