The 8th and final stage of the 2011 edition of the Tour of California entered the region of Ventura County into Piru, Fillmore and our hometown of Moorpark before finishing in downtown Thousand Oaks. A very overcast day was good for the cyclists but not for the photographers. We set up on the hillside along Tierra Rejada Road, only a block from our house. Other club members headed over to the Balcom Canyon Hill or the Norwegian Grade. Watching the Tour of California is always fun!
