Yes summer can be the "dog days", especially for road bikers. But lately we have be so lucky to have overcast skies in the morning which means cooler bike riding in the afternoon. So was the case with our monthly "North Ranch 31 Miler" into Thousand Oaks, Westlake, Agoura and Oak Park. It is great to have sun but with a cool beach breeze to make the rides so enjoyable. Come out soon and fun doing what we like to do, ride our bikes.
