Because it is on the 5th Saturday of the month, the "Santa Susana Adventure" is only riden about 4 times this year. Well we really had luck on our side for this 39 miler because the weather prediction was to be very hot. As it was, we ventured in the shade of the trees with cool breezes on the out going section. Coming home towards the west the beach breeze helped keep us from getting overly hot. Also, the half way stop at the Old Susana Cafe, in the Santa Susana area, helped give us some needed rest and refuel our bodies for the return trip. Eleven of the members had a wonderful ride on this Saturday fall morning.
