What do you do when it is hot on a bike ride? We mean really hot. Well, the group decided to modify the "Westlake 37 Miler" by stopping for a refueling break at the fun "Bean Scene" coffee house in Oak Park. We followed the suggestion of group member Edwin to stop at the Bean Scene instead of the Coffee Bean/Starbucks a few more miles into the route. Great decision. We had a wonderful selection of "biker food items" and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. And, it was right next door to Edwin's business. We will now be including this as one of our regular stops on the "Westlake 37 Miler."
