What a small world we live in, right? At the Sunday ride start at Mission Oaks Park the group of bikers for the morning are standing around or getting their bike ready for the monthly "Malibu Out & Back 41 Miler." Mike Stewart was discussing his ride extension when a "newbee" walks up and looks at him in silence. Out of the blue big smiles showed up on Mike and Mark Bradley as both obviously knew each other. Mark was once a star runner of Mike's at Newbury Park High School, 35 YEARS AGO! He came to the ride because Chris S. suggested he join the group on our morning ride down the coast. It was great to see Mark keeping his fitness going even if it was not running. Mark also demonstrated that he is a "stud" on the bike just like he was on the track. BTW, we had at least 17 riders on the ride this beautiful Sunday morning. Join us for a ride soon, maybe you will find someone from your past.
