From the drawing board, to community meetings and now to the finish product. That is the history of the now completed "Lynn Road Bike Lane Project" sponsored by the City of Thousand Oaks. Thousand Oaks has long been a bike friendly city and now that this three year project is now completed they prove their point. A road cyclist can now ride on one road from the corner of Tierra Rejada and Madera in Simi Valley west onto Olson then Lynn roads in Thousand Oaks and finally Potrero Road in Newbury Park, for a no turn route of 18 miles one way! This now makes it possible to bike a great route on January 1st at 8am from Camarillo for 43 miles to celebrate the New Year and the New Project.
