Now on the 3rd Sunday of every month the Channel Islands Bike Club, our parent club, is hosting a Special Sunday Ride addition.
Each month the ride will be chosen according to the weather predicted and the routes ridden within recent months. Every route will be unique and different, many with remote off site starting locations.
This month the plans are to bike "Heritage Valley 57 Miler" from Fillmore's Starbucks parking lot for our 8:30am start time. Plan to bike some hills, bring plenty of water and food. The route allows for those wanting a shorter route to stop in Fillmore for a 34 miler while the longer 57 miler will continue onto Rabalais Bakery in Santa Paula for food. The hope is to enjoy a tailwind on South Mountain Road back to the finish.
