Once a month the Moorpark Rides Group heads down the coast for the monthly "
Malibu 41 Miler". The weather was cold but spectacular! We departed from the usual "Away Start Location" in Camarillo but were joined by a mighty group (Greg, Lisa, Foster, Janeene, Linda & Matt) that wanted to ride a 100km departing from Moorpark. We all joined forces for a magnificant ride. So, we were lucky enough to spot a whale, yes a WHALE, only 100 yards from the PCH, near Sycamore Canyon. The whale showed off for us by breaching at least 3 times. What a great morning of biking with a fun lunch stop at the Cal State University Channel Islands food court at Subway. A great time was had by all 13 riders (Patricia, Joni, Jo Ann, Theresa, Kate H, Mike, Dave & Ernesto). Click on "
